Fremantle Media, and Sony, Solar is still widening its programming to meet the demands of emerging audiences. Recently it partnered with ITV of the UK to bring a new range
of UK and European content rarely seen on Philippine television, to be aired throughout the network.
Solar also owns and operates Domestic Satellite Philippines Corporation (DOMSAT); extending the company's reach to distribute streamed audio and video programming as well
as data via satellite and other wired and wireless means. A first in the Philippines to fully utilize a digital play out facility, Solar is the country's pioneer in
video-on-demand (VOD) service.
